Ana and I praise God for the way He has been faithful to our family, we know there are many of you that feel the same way. With jobs being lost at alarming rates and the economy of our nation in such disarray it is hard to see a silver lining in all that is going on. We are tightening our belts to keep afloat here on the Big Island. With the price of all goods here going up because of fuel prices for shipping we have had to do as all of you have, spend less for much less in return. We know God sees our needs and that is comforting. We know nothing takes Him by surprise and He knows we are in need of financial support here in Hawaii. He knows our mission is to save babies and see lives changed through decisions for Jesus and through education and counseling of the sick at heart and spirit. We are also confident that He is going to speak to the hearts of people who know we are here and He will lead them to do His will. That is an amazing God if you ask me. Please join us in praying for a different car, our Nissan is on it's last leg. We have now lost the air conditioning in it and so we don't have a car with that luxury anymore. That isn't the best situation to be in here in Hawaii with two small children. We are praying that God will provide a way for us to have a dependable car. We are also paying off a hefty medical bill for a sleep study that I (Matthew) participated in in Honolulu a month and 1/2 ago. I have been dealing with insomnia for many years and finally I have found out why. I have a sleep apnea, I stop breathing at night in my sleep and it wakes me up. The study being over I can now proceed in getting the dental mouthpiece I will need to wear at night to keep my airway open. I am excited to finally find out why I can't sleep and to be able to do something about it. This is a cost we have to absorb out of pocket because insurance will only cover so much.
